The whole year's credits are added when the plan starts. Monthly plans add credits each billing month. Credit packs are one-off purchases with no subscription, valid for 365 days.

No. Subscription credits expire at the end of the billing period they were added for: every month on monthly plans, at the end of the plan year on yearly plans. Pack credits expire 365 days after purchase. If you have credits from more than one purchase, the ones that expire soonest are used first.

Yes, anytime from Settings → Billing. Your plan keeps working until the end of the billing period you've paid for, then stops renewing — you won't be charged again. Credits already in your account stay usable until they expire.

You don't lose anything. If a generation fails, the credits it used go back to your balance automatically, and you can try again.

Yes. Browsing and copying prompts from the prompt library and using the prompt builder are free and don't need a plan. Credits are only used when you generate a photo on this site.
